Here’s another example where the following lifter looks like a traditional model at first glance, but actually contains a custom component. Typically our Squeeze-O-Turn lifters have a crush factor applied by our Production team so the product is gripped safely and effectively but does not become damaged. This particular project required the customer to apply their own crush factor while squeezing their product.
In this instance, the RonI Engineers created a knob on the bottom of the control panel that allows the customer to apply whatever degree of force they would like to the product. The squeeze controls are controlled in a manner that will allow for a very light grip pressure and adjustable force based on the product. Twisting the knob to the right applies more force and twisting the knob to the left applies less force (all controlled by the touch on a button on the back of the control panel). We also incorporated a light to tell the operator that a safe product grip has been achieved.
