July 13, 2021Roll Handling with our Double Ju
August 12, 2021Our team just unveiled a twist to our usual Brute Drum lifter! Typically for this application we start with our Lift-O-Turn tooling and add Brute Drum arms. For this particular application we were tasked with lifting a 32 gallon drum, as well as, 20 gallon drum. Using traditional methods, in order to meet the larger 32 gallon drum pour height, we would not have had room on the mast to pick up the smaller 20 gallon drum.
Our solution to this sizing difference was to rotate the brute drum arms 180 degrees so they were positioned closer to the ground when picking up the smaller brute drum. The brute drum arms in this application were also manually adjustable to accommodate the different brute drum diameter sizes.
**We do have an option where the brute drum arms can open and close electronically if the customer selects this option.
