Double Stacking Forks

Published by Lindsay Freeman at October 9, 2020

It is a common occurrence for RonI to manufacture a lifter with forks. What is not as common is a set of double stacking forks. This lifter design including the double stacking forks allows for the customer to work more efficiently within their warehouse.

The lifter shown below reflects our 19500S lifter model along with a set of notched out forks. In this case, the customer wanted the bottom fork to handle an empty shaft at 150 lbs and the top fork to handle a roll + shaft at 300 lbs. This brings the maximum total weight on the lifter to 450 lbs.

The customer is then able to load the lower empty shaft, as well as, the upper roll + shaft onto their machine without having to reload the lifter after each deposit.
