The lifter shown below is our traditional Squeeze-O-Turn but on a massively oversized scale. This particular customer needed us to design a lifter to pick up plastic drums 36.5″ – 54″ diameter x 23.25″ – 62″ tall with a maximum weight of 130lbs. The end-effector Squeeze-O-Turn needed to pick up drums from either the floor or from a pallet and turn them 180 degrees so they could be washed and cleaned out.
