Custom Lifter Legs

RonI specializes in custom lifters. Our traditional legs extend 90 degrees from the lifter. In certain circumstances our customers need to change the design of their lifter legs. The following article will walk you through an example we have used in these cases.

V-Shaped Lifter Legs…

When to use V-Shaped Legs:

  • Unable to raise pallet to accommodate lifter leg clearance.
  • Limited lifter leg clearance around a hopper or machine.
  • Because it’s cool!

The portable lifter shown below utilizes our Squeeze-O-Turn technology. This tooling allows our customer to grip a roll or drum from the outer diameter, lift off the ground, and rotate a full 360 degrees. This particular customer could not access underneath their pallet so they chose our V-shaped lifter legs. This leg configuration allows the user to push the lifter up to the corner of their pallet.

(These legs can be incorporated onto any of our lifter models / tooling configurations).
