Data Center lifting has continued to increase in demand over the past few years, without a slowdown in site. These customers need a way to safely move servers between various storage rack locations within a facility, as well as, simply load and leave a server in one particular storage rack. The Data Center Lift for Servers need to grip the servers safely and keep them level at all times during the transportation process, as well as, offer precise horizontal drop-off height.
Regarding this particular lifter, when the operator is in need of product, they take the lifter handle bars and manually push it to the storage rack of product located in the staging queue. Once in place, the operator manually locks the brake on the lifter and lowers the platform to the proper position (platform should be ever-so-slightly below the load height). After positioning, the operator then moves to the front of the lifter and slides the load on the platform. The operator then releases the brake, and moves the lifter to the area that requested the product and offloads it in a reverse fashion. The breaks on the lifter would be locked, and the load platform would be positioned ever-so-slightly above the offload height.
After offloading, the operator moves the lifter back to its waiting position to await the next transport. Maximum lift height floor to top of this platform was 78”.
