Highlights from MODEX 2026: Innovations in Ergonomic Lifting Solutions

Highlights from the Show Floor

We recently returned from MODEX 2026 in Atlanta, one of the largest material handling and supply chain trade shows in North America.

Held April 13–16 at the Georgia World Congress Center, MODEX brought together over 1,000 exhibitors and tens of thousands of attendees across manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

For our team, it was a valuable opportunity to connect face-to-face, demonstrate our equipment, and better understand the challenges companies are facing in their operations.

What We Showcased

RonI showcased ergonomic lifting solutions designed to improve safety and efficiency.

At our booth, we focused on practical lifting solutions designed to improve safety, efficiency, and ergonomics in real-world applications.

This included:

  • Vacuum lifters for handling bags, boxes, and materials
  • Mobile lifters for flexible, day-to-day use
  • Crane systems for heavier or more complex lifting needs
  • Application-specific tooling like Expand-O-Turn and Squeeze-O-Turn

Rather than just showing equipment, our goal was to talk through how these solutions apply to actual customer challenges—whether that’s lifting ingredient bags into mixers, handling drums, or improving workflow in tight spaces.

Common Challenges We Heard

One of the biggest benefits of MODEX is the conversations. Across industries, a few common themes came up repeatedly:

  • Manual lifting is still a major strain on workers
  • Facilities are looking for safer, more ergonomic processes
  • Many teams are working with limited space or existing layouts
  • There’s a need for flexible equipment that can handle multiple tasks

These conversations help us continue to refine how we approach applications—not just products.

Why MODEX Matters

MODEX isn’t just about new technology—it’s about seeing solutions in action and having real conversations with the people using them.

The show combines hands-on demonstrations, educational sessions, and direct interaction with suppliers, making it a key event for companies evaluating equipment and improving operations.

For us, it’s one of the best ways to stay connected to what customers actually need.
