Wash Down Jib Crane with Chain Hoist

What is a Wash Down Jib Crane with a Chain Hoist? The crane below is being used to pick up (2) 100 lb bags by engaging a hook into a re-enforced round bag opening. The bags need to be lifted and swung to a position where the product will be discharged. This range is 30″ to 84″ from the crane column. The top of the outer arm cannot exceed 8’9″. The crane will have a 1500 mm inner arm and a 1000 mm outer arm. The area will be a wash down environment.

The articulating arm crane has a fixed column with a wash down hoist mounted on the outer arm. The crane column, lifting hook and articulating arm is stainless steel. The electric hoist is nickel chrome plated. The hoist is a .25 ton capacity with a 10′ lift. The hoist is designed to IP 54 Hoist protection.
